Year 6 Teacher

What we are looking for:

• Teaching experience within a school setting.
• Has a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 6 SATs preparation.
• Brings energy, creativity and a positive attitude to the classroom.
• Has high expectations for all pupils and strives to support every child to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure coverage of all subjects, with a strong focus on English and Maths to prepare pupils for end of key stay assessments.
• Track pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
• Promote positive behaviour through clear rules, expectations and consistent reinforcement.
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers about pupil progress, well being and school life.
