Job description:  

• Daily Rate: £162.31 - £207.38
• Location: Accrington, BB5
• Job Type: Temporary

Reed/ Lancashire teaching agency are seeking a Y6 Teacher for a temporary position for the Summer 2025 term and is expected to last until the end of the academic year!

This role is flexible that it can be full time or part time depending on the candidates needs and SAT elements will be covered by the school’s own teaching staff.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Year 6 students.
• Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching at the primary level.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
