We are currently looking to recruit an accountant for a 5 month contract, to help us with year end, following the implementation of a new finance system part way through the financial year. Job description is attached.

For the temporary role that we are recruiting for, the main duties are listed below:

• Month end reconciliations • Prepayments • Accruals • Managing insurance claims - typically including losses such as Motor, Commercial Property and some Casualty claims like Employers Liability & Public Liability. This will include monitoring the progress of the claims and liaising with Insurers and internal colleagues, resolving and negotiating any liability, whilst keeping colleagues informed on progress, and advising stakeholders on how to make claims, log new notifications, and update all records accurately on the system. 37 hours per week Mon-Fri. Optional work from home 3-4 days per week, minimum 1-2 days per week in office. Start as soon as possible. Contract end 29/08/2025. The ideal candidate will have experience managing insurance claims. Experience with TechnologyOne finance software preferred.
