Job Description:Newcastle Secondary School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Temporary Year Leader to join our team after the Easter holidays. This role is ideal for an experienced educator looking to make a positive impact on students' academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a year group, ensuring high standards of student behaviour and achievement.
• Monitor and support students' progress, providing guidance and intervention where necessary.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver a cohesive and effective educational experience.
• Organise and oversee year group activities, including assemblies, trips, and events.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, addressing any concerns and fostering a supportive community.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a secondary school setting.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
