Job Description - Account Manager - Compression and Wound Care

THE ROLE: A commercially focused role with a split of acute and community meetings in the field. The successful Account Manager role will be responsible for maintaining existing business and driving new regional business partnerships at ICS level, developing care pathways and having board level conversations.

Key products are compression and advanced wound dressings and you will liaise with senior commercial decision makers such as Directors, Heads of Services, Locality Leads and Medicines Management, as well as clinical contacts within both primary care and acute settings i.e. Tissue Viability Nurses, District Nurses, Podiatrists, Dermatologists, Leg Ulcer Specialists and procurement. There will be come clinical training responsibility as well as sales.

They supply a range of wound care, debridement, bandaging and compression hosiery for use within community / primary care environments and they are currently seeking to recruit a suitably experienced clinical or medical sales professional to manage and further develop their business within their West Midlands sales territory.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience selling wound care and / or compression or related products into the NHS
  • OR sales experience and a previous clinical background, i.e. tissue viability nurses / district nurses with commercial experience
  • OR related clinical experience, e.g. a Community Nurse seeking a new challenge in sales
  • Full driving licence with no more than 6 points

The package for Clinical Account Manager

  • Salary – £44- £53k basic + £7-10k+ uncapped bonus
  • Company car or car allowance of £710 per month
  • Healthcare, 10% pension, life assurance 4x annual salary
  • Holidays – 25 days + stats
