As a global and growing company they are now looking to hire an Internal Account Manager to focus on exploring opportunities, scoping out business objectives and building relationships.
As an experienced Account Manager youll thrive in a sales environment and have a proven track record of retention and growth of a customer-base.
About the role:
Work towards targeted KPIs based around budget, acquisition and productivity by actively pursuing sales opportunities (prospecting; win-back; cross-selling)
Research accounts, identify decision makers and generate interest
Support group sales campaign initiatives
Close sales and achieve monthly / quarterly KPIs
Employ diligent analysis of product and market data in order to maximise profit margins
Self-manage individual contribution to central/depot-led sales campaigns
Maintain regular contact with existing customer base
Handle client-based escalations from customer service team
Keep regular contact with centralised Commercial Team (Product Managers; Business Development Managers)
Ensure that reporting and objective planning is comprehensive and kept up to date
Our clients can offer you a safe, stable and supportive space for you to grow your account management career. If you have experience of the chemical industry and the wide scope of opportunities it can bring then this will be advantageous however not a requirement for the role.
About you
Proven track record of exceeding targets within a telephony-based sales environment (essential)
Experience of using recognised sales techniques; implementing a structured sales strategy; managing sales pipelines (essential)
Customer-facing background (essential)
History of working towards targets and meeting deadlines (essential)
Previous experience within the chemical industry (desirable)
