Accountant

Reed Finance is working with a leading service providerin Bristol recruiting for an Accountant to join their friendly team.

• Salalry up to £49,750

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for, accounts payable, accounts receivable & credit control / invoicing functions within the finance department.
• Ownership of monthly management accounts, trial balance preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, accruals & prepayments.
• Support the preparation of monthly performance packs for management and any other ad-hoc analysis of financial information.
• Preparation of VAT returns and assist with the corporation tax pack.
• Key contact with internal & external auditors and completion of audit requests.
• Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts, pension acounting and filing of accounts.
• Ensure company audit, risk & compliance controls are adhered to and updating of risk matrix for ARAC committee.
• Data Protection, Audit & Risk duties, Company polices & Performance m/ment
• Coordination of data for performance management & system improvements
• Provide advice and guidance to other finance team members and non-finance staff on accounting matters and use of financial systems
• Stakeholder management with insurance companies, banking institutions and council / external audit departments.
