Accounting Assistant

ESE Solar are one of the UK's leading solar companies with over 4,000 Trustpilot reviews. The company has been successfully trading for over 9 years and are currently expanding its accounts department, looking for an experienced and organised Accounts Assistant.

The role of Accounts Assistant is ideally suited to an individual who is organised and professional, capable of managing high volumes of work. The successful candidate will report directly to the Accounts Manager, while working as part of a team supporting all aspects of the accounting division.

General:

Hours - Full/ part time - between 20 and 38 hours per week.

5 days per week

Our office is currently located in Hunts Cross, (L24). We will be relocating to Widnes (WA8) in August/ September. Please check you are able to travel to both offices before applying for the role.

The successful applicant will:

· Be knowledgeable in Sage 50 Accounts

· Be computer literate with proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office.

· Have a high attention to detail and accuracy.

· Have experience in; bank reconciliation, sales and purchase ledgers.

· Have a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar field

Key responsibilities and duties:

· Managing the purchase and sales ledgers.

· Credit control function

· Raising sales invoices, recording payments received on client accounts and reconciling payments received.

· Raising purchase orders, allocating goods received & inputting purchase invoices. Statement reconciliations and issuing payments.

· Other ad hoc duties

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £1,000.00-£2,280.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
