Accounting Manager

Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a market leading, listed business to hire an Accounting Manager into a newly created role. You will be owning the accounts for multiple entities up to trial balance, alongside managing a small team. With ongoing projects happening across the division, there will be plenty of opportunities to progress both in the medium and long term. Skills/experience required:

• ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong fundamental accounting knowledge across the general ledger (month end close process, balance sheet recs, accruals, prepayments etc.)
• People from an external audit environment looking to make their first move to industry will also be considered
• A confident communicator with a desire to step into people management

• Ownership of the end-to-end financial reporting & tax - everything up to trial balance.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts.
• Management and development of a small team.
• Involvement in an ongoing ERP systems project.
