£25-30,000 per annum Think of this as a project accountant opportunity; if you are IT savvy, then this could very well be for you! Working for an international manufacturing company, you will be office based from their site on the outskirts of Swansea and supporting teams locally and across Europe! Your role will focus on 3 way matching (as well as working with missing and non-existent PO's); managing Purchase Ledger activities. You will be a natural problem solver; confidently taking accountability for the escalation and resolution of supplier account queries. You will reconcile the suppliers, working across various departments and sites to resolve discrepancies and manage the month-end process. Your role will incorporate the full end to end of accounts payable, from receipt of invoice, through to point of payment, as well the monitoring and maintenance of an accurate supplier database, but due to the complexities of the business (such as intercompany reconciliation, and GRNI work), you will need a really good understanding of financial process and procedure. This could be from experience...... they are also interested in meeting people who have studied AAT or ACCA, with accompanying AP experience. You will need some good exposure to larger and more complex ERP systems such as SAP, SAGE 500, Oracle or MS Dynamics, and you will be one of the first points of contact for system related queries. You will also need to have intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
This role will be office based across a 5 day, 37.5 hour week. You will get 26 days annual leave plus bank holiday, free parking on site and a degree of flexibility regarding working hours.
