12 month Contract As a Senior Assistant Financial Accountant, you will be a key player in the Shared Services Financial Accounting team. You will ensure accurate and timely input and reporting of accounting entries, supporting business units. The team handles a variety of finance activities, including Financial Reporting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Leasing Accounting, Payroll Accounting, and General Accounting.
Duties:

• Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
• Reduce reconciling item numbers and identify methods to minimize recurring items
• Process payroll files and manage employee benefit schemes
• Post leasing entries and reconcile control accounts
• Ensure monthly and yearly reporting meets company deadlines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with finance contacts

• Finance Degree, AAT, or equivalent
• Understanding of Financial controls and Data Protection regulations
• Intermediate Excel, including Pivot tables and VLOOKUPS
• Good working knowledge of SAP, Oracle and or Hyperion is desirable
