Audit and Accounts Senior

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working alongside a fantastic regional firm of Chartered Accountants as they look to recruit an Audit and Accounts Senior in Wakefield.The client, a well-known, long-established practice with an exceptional reputation across West Yorkshire are investing further resource into their growing Wakefield office and as a result, have a newly created role for someone ACA, ACCA or Qualified by Experience (5+ years) to join. As part of the Audit and Accounts team, you will be providing a wide range of audit and accounting services to clients. This is a varied role that will include overseeing and undertaking audits and accounts work, both in the office and at client premises. Clients are varied and you will have the opportunity to develop client relationships and deliver on wide ranging projects, working with the wider team.This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to widen or embellish existing experience in this multi-faceted role with a clear development pathway within. Key responsibilities:
* Senior audit work from planning to completion with minimal supervision, including: all aspects of the audit fieldwork; working to deadlines and on budget and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Coaching, mentoring and supervising the work of more junior team members.
* Preparation of accounts and tax computations for companies, sole traders and partnerships, for manager's or director's review and approval.
* Build strong relationships with clients. What's on offer:
