Client Accountant Our client seeks a Client Accountant to oversee the financial operations of the retail division and secure its assets. The accountant will report to the Group Financial Controller and provide updates on the financial status of the retail outlets, offering suggestions to increase profitability. The Client Accountant will also act as the primary point of contact for all retail finance and accounting-related matters with owners, auditors (internal and external), and regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities Monthly reporting Understanding the management company accounts and taking them to full monthly management accounts.
Balance sheet control
Forecasting - both operationally and cashflow Service charge Annual preparation of the service charge budget.
Full understanding of service charge accounting and treatment
Review monthly/quarterly. Commerciality Business partnering COO and GFC to support business direction.
Manage and challenge management company team to ensure debtors are reviewed timely.
Supporting the growth of the new division Management Potential to build and develop own team as division grows.
Job Requirements Qualified CIMA or ACCA
Experience in retail industry
Proficient in Microsoft office products such as Excel & Word
Knowledge of Dynamics 365 or other well-known accounting systems is advantageous
Balance Sheet knowledge is a pre-requisite
Strong Communication skills
Good interpersonal skills & Demonstrable Initiative
Strong analytical skills
Ability to deliver with minimum supervision The salary for this position is between £50,000 and £55,000 .
This role is located at Heathrow airport with a Monday-Friday workweek and free on-site parking.
