Financial Accountant South Manchester Manufacturing 60,000- 65,000 Hybrid

Job Overview: Axon Moore are working alongside an excellent organisation based in South Manchester who are embarking on a period of rapid growth. With an expectation to double in size over the next three-five years through organic growth and an appetite for future M&A, this is an exceptional time to join the business. The role will report to the Group Financial Controller and will hold a wide range of technical finance responsibilities, coupled with the opportunity to embark on finance wide projects to improve processes and implement new systems. The FC is keen to bring someone in with an appetite to drive initiatives and make a long term impact in the business.

Salary: 60,000- 65,000

Location: South Manchester (hybrid working, 2/3 days a week in the office)

Main Duties:

• Provide technical support for wider finance team.
• Ad-hoc statutory support for external partners.
• Monthly statutory accounts, balance sheet and cashflow.
• Partnering alongside none-finance stakeholders to support with any finance queries.
• Take ownership of IFRS 16 lease accounts.
• Write papers for IFRS 15 contracts, supporting external partners.
• Support external tax partners when required.
• Provide insight for wider group entities overseas.

Person Specification:

• ACA Qualified.
• Experience working on group consolidations is essential.
• Experience with IFRS 15 and 16 is desirable.
• Multiple currency experience is desirable.
• Experience working in Manufacturing is desirable.
• Strong Excel capability.
• Excellent communicator.
• Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
