Robert Half are currently in partnership with a financial services company for the recruitment of a Financial Accountant to join their Edinburgh team. This is the ideal position for a first or second time mover (ACCA/ICAS) accountant with relevant experience.

Reporting into the Group FC, this role involves:

• Production of monthly management accounts and reports and monthly reconciliation of balance sheet items
• Production of monthly consolidated forecast
• Supporting Group FC with budgeting
• Preparation of ad hoc analysis for management and shareholders to allow commercial insight
• Main point of contact for audits across the corporate group
• Responsible for the preparation of individual financial statements and consolidated financial statements where necessary
• Co-ordinate tax compliance obligations with corporate service providers
• Line management of the Accounts Assistant

Profile

• This roles requires a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with good knowledge of accounting standards
• Strong technical skills, IFRS and UK GAAP
• Previous exposure to financial services or practice environment desirable
• First/second time mover minimum
• Strong IT skills
• Great interpersonal skills

Salary between £55000 and £60000 per annum, DOE. Package includes also discretionary annual bonus.

Team works hybrid week of 3/4 days a week in the office.
