Management Accountant Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Management Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave. My client is a leading manufacturing business operating in the food sector where provision of a high level of customer satisfaction is one of their core values. Working as part of a team and reporting to the Financial Controller your duties will be varied and include the following; Preparation of monthly management accounts to include journals, prepayments, accruals and fixed asset register/depreciation Reconciliation to weekly reporting and explaining variances Balance sheet reconciliations Production of short term forecast P&L On time and accurate reporting of financial results including stock reconciliations, variances to standards and labour variances Work with production team to ensure accurate data capturing Approve purchase ledger payment run Ad hoc reporting as required You will be Qualified or Qualified by Experience with a solid all round background in financial and standard costing gained within a manufacturing environment.
