My client, a well-established and growing company based in the South East, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to be part of a dynamic and focused team. You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.
You will be providing accurate reporting and management of company accounts. You will need to be a self-motivated and adaptive learner while assisting with month end forecasting ensuring it is completed with accuracy.
Responsibilities:

• Preparation of UK management accounts within specified deadlines for review by the UK Finance Manager using Oracle NetSuite
• Preparing monthly schedules and posting journals for:
  o Prepayments for all UK subsidiaries
  o Accruals for all UK subsidiaries
  o Fixed Assets
  o Capitalisation of staff costs (internally generated assets)
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Supervising the work of the Accounts Payable Assistant and Credit Controller and provide support to colleagues in the finance team
• Preparation of VAT Returns
• Ensuring compliance with internal control processes
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports requested by UK Finance Manager
• Support with liaising with external auditors
• Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers
