Robert Half is currently collaborating with a growing Surrey charity to hire an interim Management Account for a period of 6 months. This person will be the predominant finance body with control over the small finance function. If you are an experienced management accountant looking for a new role to develop and take on responsibility, this is the opportunity for you. As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for working closely with the Board of Trustees in supporting critical decisions through collecting, tracking and correcting the organisations finances. Along with this, the main duties will consist of the below:

• Management reporting and oversee the ongoing maintenance of accounts
• Budgets, forecasts and cash flow management
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Reconciliation of accounts including receivable and payable
• Work with HR to ensure payroll is accurate and records are stored and maintained correctly
• Build and manage business relationships with auditors, tax authorities and local authority finance contacts.

The company operate hybrid working where you will be required in the Chertsey, Surrey office 3 days per week. This temporary Management Accountant role will pay £40,000 to £50,000 (equivalent day rate) depending on experience. Parking is available on site.
