Client Details

Our client is a successful, growing and market leading business. It operates in a number of countries throughout the globe. You will be based from its head office in Nottingham city centre.

Description

You will be reporting into the Head of Finance and will be working as part of a team of 8 in finance. Your duties will be extremely varied and will include, but will not be limited to:

• Producing the management accounts for two companies within the Group, including: P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and KPIs
• Producing anual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Reporting on contracts KPIs against budget, forecast and prior year
• Intercompany reconciliations and recharges
• Ensuring all balance sheets reconciliations are completed
• Affiliate and rebate reporting
• Producing year end file for auditors and dealing with queries from the auditors
• Year end audit preparation including statutory accounts and tax packs
• Completion of quarterly Group VAT return.
• Business partnering non financial stakeholders
• Supporting the Head of Finance with managing and mentoring the team
• Managing annual business insurance renewals
• At busy periods, supporting with covering sales ledger, purchase ledger and banking
• Ad hoc reporting
• Identifying and driving process improvements in finance

Profile

To apply for this position, you:

• Will have a experience of producing management accounts
• Will be studying an accounting qualification. Ideally CIMA or ACCA, but candidates studying AAT will also be considered.
• Will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Will have excellent communication skills

Job Offer

• £35,000 - £55,000 (dependent upon experience)
• 1 day PW home working
