Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Devon Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant for a remote position based in London, England, UK. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our accounting department.

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and maintain financial records and reports 2. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring 3. Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data 4. Process invoices and expenses 5. Assist with payroll processing and tax filings 6. Conduct financial analysis and research as needed 7. Communicate regularly with team members and management to provide financial updates 8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions 9. Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 2. 1 year of experience in accounting or finance 3. Proficient in MS Office and accounting software 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 6. Adaptable and energetic personality 7. Emotional intelligence and research skills 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 9. Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
