Senior Accountant Lumb Accountancy are looking for a self-motivated, professional Senior Accountant to become part of their small friendly accountancy firm based in the heart of Rossendale. Lumb Accountancy service businesses and individuals in South Lancashire, West Yorkshire and across England. The role of Senior Accountant will include assisting clients across a broad range of business sectors utilising a combination of the latest cloud-based technology along with a traditional approach to client care, giving you the opportunity to have a positive impact on clients' businesses. You will receive support from the principal along with formal continual professional development to be able to exercise a great deal of autonomy within your role. You will also be required to assist junior members of the team. The successful candidate will have worked in an accountancy firm for at least three years and will be competent in taking accounts up to trial balance and preparing draft accounts. To be able to provide a great service to clients you will be: * Able to deliver a great client experience - either in person, on the telephone, zoom/teams or email communication. * Able to confidently apply a balance sheet approach to preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. * Competent in working with the latest cloud based technology Job details * £24,000 - £30,000 pro rata dependent on experience * Part-time, Permanent * Company pension * Flexitime * Free parking * On-site parking * Monday to Friday * Flexitime Qualifications * AAT level 4 qualified or above (ACCA, ACA). * Able to work calmly under pressure and meet multiple deadlines. * Able to communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand way. * Work well in a team
