Job Description:

We are seeking a Band 3 Business Support Administrator forour Community Perinatal Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our teamof administrators and perinatal mental health professionals based across Devon.

Administration services underpin all of our clinicalactivity at Devon Partnership NHS Trust, which means our dedicated andenthusiastic administration workforce is vital to the delivery of first classcare.

The Community Perinatal Service has four teamsall based in antenatal clinics and community mental health bases across Devonincluding - Exeter, Torbay, Ivybridge and Barnstaple.

The Perinatal Team is commissioned to workwith women pre-conceptually, in pregnancy & postnatally where there areemotional wellbeing and/or mental health concerns. The aim is to promotewellbeing for women in the perinatal period and to ultimately improve outcomesfor women, their babies and their families in the postnatal period.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support across the service. There will be an expectation for the post holder to be highly motivated, flexible and multi-skilled with excellent organisational skills. The post holder will have high standard of skills using Microsoft Office packages and experience of using bespoke IT systems.

The postholder will need to meet deadlines, collate data and maintain standardsrelating to administrative processes. They will need to be able to work withina team effectively and share work streams across the Perinatal Service whereappropriate. The role will involve the coordination and implementation ofoffice procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills andexcellent working knowledge of administrative systems.
