For more than thirty years, Start360 has been a pivotal front-line provider of transformative support services in the areas of criminal justice, employability, and health, for young people and adults at risk, and their families, across Northern Ireland. Start360 are currently looking for a part-time Cleaning Operative for the Head office at William Street, Belfast..

Responsibilities

• Ensure and maintain a welcome and high level of presentation for all communal areas, thoroughfares, toilets, and offices.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to comprise of general cleaning duties to include (but not limited to); hoovering, mopping of floors, dusting to keep surfaces clean, emptying bins and replace liners, cleaning and disinfecting toilet facilities.
• Carrying out any deep cleaning tasks as required (e.g. clearing of fridge facilities) or handling special projects related to cleaning/organisation as needed.
• Being vigilant and noting any health and safety risks that could harm staff or visitors. Promptly reporting such risks to the relevant individuals.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience working in an environment which requires confidentiality
• With good communication skills, the ideal candidate will be able to approach their work in a methodical and logical manner.
• Educated to secondary level standard.
