Deputy Manager

• *Deputy Nursery Manager**
• *Salary is currently up to £15 per hour**
• *Surrey based**
• *Closed for 2 weeks over Christmas**

As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our client's nursery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for early childhood education and childcare to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families. It would suit someone with experience in this role already or someone looking to climb the ladder. This is a room based role with time out in the office as needed. Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager in planning, organising, and implementing programs and activities for children
• Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance and feedback as needed
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Communicate effectively with parents, addressing any concerns or questions
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement curriculum plans
• Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling and record keeping
• Provide leadership in the absence of the Manager
• SENCO (training can be given)
• DSL (training can be given)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in childcare or early childhood education
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
