We create transparency, standardise methodologies, and help to educate the industry. We also digitise the route to market and provide a complete software suite. Our vision is to be the Operating System that empowers renewable energy players to have an edge in post-subsidy markets.

The Role

Pexapark is looking for a Head of Commercial Operations to join our central operations team. You’ll be a strategic leader combined with the technical know-how of optimising our commercial tooling stack and our process designs.

As Head of Commercial Operations, you’ll be responsible for creating alignment across our sales, marketing & customer success teams, enabling them with the right workflows, processes, tools & systems to ensure revenue growth.

You’ll be leading on commercial initiatives, managing a team and be operational in the set up and delivery of projects that enable our commercial teams’ success

How will you help:

  • Own and define the commercial tooling stack (Salesforce CRM, Pardot/Account Engagement).
  • Own our commercial capacity modelling, including but not limited to; commission planning, account segmentation, territory creation, and resource planning.
  • Work with a range of departments to enable their performance (sales, marketing, customer success).
  • Work with your team to define objectives and deliverables.
  • Own commercial reporting framework, including regular meetings with Exec Team and department Leads from core business units (sales, marketing, finance, customer success).
  • Securing investment that will bring efficiencies to our commercial operations and drive revenue for the business.
  • Building scalable commercial infrastructure that can be easily adopted and drive growth.
  • Leading and coaching our small operations team which includes a Marketing Ops Lead and a Commercial Ops specialist.
  • Identifying the optimal structure of the commercial operations team and leading the growth through resource management, hiring, training and team development.

What you’ll bring:

  • Relevant experience building commercial/revenue/sales operations structures.
  • Industry background in pricing information or market intelligence subscription-based models would be advantageous.
  • Strong change-management & programme management skills.
  • Ability to identify the needs of the commercial team and drive innovative solutions for revenue-growth.
  • Data-led approach to decision making and delivering solutions for the commercial needs of the business.
  • Experienced in running and building CRM, marketing automation and post-sales workflows.
  • Expertise with managing Salesforce CRM & Pardot/Account Engagement platform would be advantageous.
  • Experience in managing/coaching a team to work as a unit for strategic planning and problem solving.
  • A good sense of humour.
