The IT Systems Administrator Role:
As the IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of hardware and software systems and related infrastructure. You will manage the corporate networks, Servers, telephony systems, and various security systems, ensuring they align with corporate objectives. You will also support and troubleshoot all on-site hardware devices and manage Affinity assets. Your role includes planning and leading projects to develop new technical platforms for IT services and responding to all line faults and service requests to ensure complete problem resolution.

IT Systems Administrator Essential Skills:

  • Proven commercial experience in a 2nd/3rd Line IT Support Role or Systems Admin Role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Hardware and Software, Apple Hardware and Software, and Linux (especially Debian-based and Amazon Linux)
  • Experience with VMware virtualization and Amazon Web Services (Cloud Infrastructure and services)
  • Knowledge of networking and infrastructure, EMC and HP SANs, SIP telephony systems, and SaaS platforms like Office 365, Google Workspace, Jira, and Confluence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
