Senior Operations Engineer (Site & Facilities) Job Title: Senior Operations Engineer (Site & Facilities) Location: Barrow-in-Furness - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. Salary: Circa £39,000 depending on skills and experience What you'll be doing: Communicating effectively with Stakeholders at all levels within the Submarines Business and External 3rd Party Contractors Shouldering responsibility for your own SAP EAM Work Centres, Facilitating, and completing Planned Statutory Inspections as well as Planned & Reactive 3rd Party Specialist Maintenance Controlling SAP EAM work orders, ensuring a high-quality detail of works is accurately recorded and available to support team work plans Reviewing Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) as a BAE Responsible Person, with SHE Advisors and subject matter experts Conducting internal audits and process confirmations to provide objective evidence of compliance Your skills and experiences: Experience in an Engineering, Maintenance or Asset Management environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to liaise with Stakeholders at all levels within the Submarines Business and External 3rd Party Contractors Experience in managing and working to safe systems of work (SSOW) An understanding of LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations), PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) and PSSR (Pressure Systems Safety Regulations) An understanding of planned preventative and reactive maintenance SAP EAM (Electronic Asset Management) Health and safety qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH) Trade Background You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. This role is an opportunity to join a growing team, maintaining the business site wide, in a varied day-to-day environment of office and on site responsibilities.
