Job Description - Operations Manager

Once started as a local Dutch and Belgium logistics provider for companies in the fashion industry, we have grown into an award-winning international 3PL logistics company serving many renowned brands across various consumer goods industries. We leverage our experience and knowledge built over many years, passed from team member to team member, and expanded our activities ever since. We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join the our new site based in Corby. This is a permanent role Monday – Friday with a salary range of £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experince.

Tasks and responsibilities:
  • To strategically lead all activities related to the flow of stock through the distribution centre, from receipt through to despatch, ensuring they are completed safely and in line with Client expectations
  • To manage the Client relationship at first line level, ensuring the Client is informed (through the correct channels) of all relevant information and that concerns are dealt with in a timely and constructive way
  • To ensure the team proactively plan labour, equipment and activities in a cost-effective way, ensuring budgets are adhered to and exceeded where possible
  • To promote and foster a culture of working safely and supporting the development of the team and the individuals within it
