They just require someone with some related experience gained in a machining or engineering or manufacturing environment who is willing and keen to learn.ResponsibilitiesResponsible to set up and perform necessary lapping ops on inside and/or outside diameters of various precision parts using various measuring equipment;Provide assistance to all areas in the team when required (including lapping, polishing, straightening, deburring, part marking and cleaning of components)Cleaning of components prior to inspection;Ensure machines are operated according to site and manufacturer’s recommendations;Meet desired quantities, conducting in-process inspection and checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately and to the highest standards;Keep the working environment clean and tidy and practice good housekeeping;Report into the Unit Manager and advise of any delays/setbacks or problems that may arise;Work in accordance to the quality system and processes of the company;Be punctual at all times;Adhere to the company’s health and safety requirements and complete training as required.RequirementsExperience gained in a Machining or Engineering or Manufacturing environment - most/all consideredYou could be working as a Machine Operator / Machinist or Production Technician etc and wanting a change in role.Keen to learn and grasp new skillsCareer drivenGood communicator with the hunger and drive to be successfulStrong team player – This company promote teamwork and it is imperative part of the role.If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Wesley at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
