Job Description - Director of Operations

Title: Director of Operations

Salary: £80,200

Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per Week

Place of work: 3 Angel Walk, Hammersmith, London, W6 9HX

These are exciting times for Women's Pioneer Housing. We achieved planning permission for 2 new developments last year and, over the next 2 years, we will be building over 160 new homes for single women in West London, including brand new offices on our site at 227 Wood Lane.

Founded in 1920 by women and men who understood the challenges faced by women trying to secure affordable, safe and independent housing at the time, Women's Pioneer Housing Association continues to recognise that the need for safe, secure, affordable housing for single women is as great as ever.

Our mission is to offer single women access to safe, secure and good quality affordable homes and services that enable women to live a good quality of life; and to influence other housing providers so they understand the needs of single women and offer services that meet this need. To prepare us for our first high rise schemes, and ensure our residents continue to live in safe, well maintained properties, we created a new role of Director of Operations which has been successfully delivered by our previous Director of Housing. Our Director is now leaving and we are searching for a committed and ambitious senior housing professional to lead our customer service and housing teams, to build on the achievements of the previous Director of Housing and ensure we achieve our goals and deliver excellent housing and customer-focused services.

You will already be working in a customer-focused housing services environment, and have experience at management or at senior level in creating and delivering plans that meet regulatory, statutory and compliance requirements. In addition you should be an excellent manager with proactive leadership skills and have a track record of working closely with residents to understand their needs and deliver services to meet those needs.

We are a small team, and work together to deliver shared objectives. If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, committed to improving housing and repairs services for social housing residents, and a good team member, we would love to hear from you.

We offer hybrid working and flexi time working. You will be fully enabled to work from home with a laptop and mobile phone provided. Embracing our one team ethos, our entire team work together at our head office at least one day each week which will support you in your work bringing opportunities for you to build positive relationships with colleagues actively enhancing our culture.
