Job Description - Reporting Administrator

About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Reporting Administrator to join our Asset & Technology Solutions business unit to work in Thurnscoe.

Role purpose

To manage the Management Information Data of hired plant and tool equipment across the MSD Project.

Key Accountabilities:

Manage the day to day reporting / administration of the Managed Service Desk (Anglian Water Hire Desk) and to lead in weekly data distribution, in line with customers expectation and targets.

What you'll be doing

As a Reporting Administrator, your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Day to day management and reporting of MSD, e.g., KPI’s customer required MI in the agreed SLA.
  • To innovate ideas and new procedures on how to resolve any issues within the MSD if applicable.
  • To report on all issues relating to the MSD and escalate it to Balfour Beatty Hire Desk Manager.
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with all other members of the team including suppliers and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with the KPIs and service levels under this Agreement including production of reports and evidence as appropriate.
  • General administration duties within Plant team.
  • Carry out spot checking of Power BI data and identify any anomalies including development of an action plan to resolve.
  • Assist with the recommendation to increase/decrease the hire fleet.
  • To take ownership of any given task and complete by agreed deadline.
  • Timesheet management of weekly data issued form supply chain.

Who we're looking for

The following qualities and experience are essential:

  • Preferred to have plant hire experience and knowledge of plant tools and equipment, but not essential.
  • Customer focused and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • IT literate, particularly with Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel.
  • Statistical mind set.
  • Preferred to have driving licence.
  • Keen eye on detail, and accuracy.
  • Outwood thinking.
  • Problem solving.
  • Good presentation skills.
