We are looking for a Technical Administrator to join our Customer Connections (CC) team based in our head office in Warwick working on a hybrid basis.

Working within the Performance Execution Team in Customer Connections, you will be supporting all the administrative tasks that need to be completed throughout the project lifecycle including, managing project documentation, and keeping them updated, support the creation of regional reporting documents and maintaining spreadsheets and databases with the most up to date information.

What you'll do

  • Support the Governance Lead in the administration of the sanction and change control processes, including the tracking of documents and update of outputs
  • Manage and track progress of projects for closure against the monthly plan
  • Establish and manage trackers to provide governance and closure forecasts, and liaise with regions to provide regular updates
  • Perform technical secretary role for allocated forums/meetings, including action monitoring and follow up to achieve satisfactory completion
  • Co-ordinate the production of regional reporting packs
  • Maintain the management of databases and spreadsheets, including collation, filing, data privacy and admin support
  • Help in managing relevant Share Point sites, so information is both easily accessible, relevant and managed in line with our Data BMS standard
  • Maintain and update as necessary the team’s procedural documents
  • Produce management reports as and when required
  • Provide co-ordination and administrative support where required to the Performance Execution and Performance Delivery teams

What you'll need

  • Ability to use desktop software packages to coordinate and present management information in numerical, graphical and written format and able to use packages to generate reports and interrogate data (e.g. Pivot tables)
  • Experience in document management, including administration of online Collaborative Project Management systems (eg, Livelink, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Strong organisational skills ideally gained within a customer facing role
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of UK electricity transmission business preferable
