365 People is hiring on behalf of our client in Hinckley for the position of Transport Administrator. Our client is a reputable company in the transportation industry, dedicated to providing efficient and reliable services. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a temporary to permanent role in a dynamic work environment. Job Type: Temp to Perm, Permanent, Full-time Salary: £11.44 per hour with increase after 12 weeks Schedule: Monday - Friday, various start times from 5am -8am Responsibilities: Ensure fleet legal compliance by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Schedule and coordinate service and MOT appointments for company vehicles.
Conduct daily fleet checks to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition for operation.
Perform daily quality checks on vehicles to maintain safety and efficiency standards.
Conduct driver checks, including validating licenses, and occasionally assist in moving vans around the premises.
Requirements: Previous experience in a similar administrative role within the transportation industry is desired.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance and safety.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A valid driving license is required as occasional van movement may be necessary.
