Summary: The Assistant/Associate Dean for Residence and Community Life, under the supervision of the Dean of Student Success and in close collaboration with the Student Life leadership team and key campus colleagues, leads, develops, implements and manages the comprehensive connections between faith, learning and living that distinguish Gordon’s compelling campus and community culture, including its experiences, programs and outcomes. Lead strategy, culture and purpose of residence and community life Lead residence directors and student staff in comprehensive planning and delivery of high-impact experiences and resources for sustaining student belonging in residence and community life Work closely with campus partners to shape campuswide preparation for citizenship foundations in intercultural competency and dialogue, community service and personal and professional competencies that contribute to generous life together Shape a compelling Christian culture and student campus experience Collaborate with academic and spiritual formation partners in continually improving the lived experience of resident and commuter students campuswide Provide seasoned coaching, guidance and development for emerging professionals and promising undergraduate and graduate students Master’s or advanced degree required in a student affairs or related disciplines or experience. ~Experience developing and managing staff through empowering, evaluating and training. ~ High level of organization, self-motivation and capacity for effectively managing multiple projects to completion. ~
