Warehouse Operative

The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work for an established, growing business in the Blackpool area. Warehouse Operative salary: £22,308 per annum Warehouse Operative hours: 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday Warehouse Operative Roles and responsibilities:

• Assist with unloading and/or loading of incoming and outgoing delivery
  personally and/or manage personnel involved for container shipments,
  including forklift operation.
• De-label, label, re-pack and store all incoming goods appropriately.
• Accurately and suitably pick and pack all goods for despatch, working with carrier collection times.
• Perform an accurate manual stock take, checking quantities of each product and record.
• Effectively use basic computer based systems for booking collections,
  tracking goods and recording equipment from goods in and goods out.

Warehouse Operative Qualifications / Experience Required:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills, since the warehouse operative may be required to complete certain assigned tasks under strict deadlines
• Attention to detail, since he/she must be able to locate and extract merchandise from shelves and storage areas
• Good endurance skills, as the job is manual, and you will be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Follow picking lists accurately to ensure products are ready for delivery in an efficient manner
• Must have experience in a similar warehouse role
• A FLT license is desirable but not essential
• A Full UK Driving license is essential
