Civil Engineer (Renewable Energy/Data Centre) | Belfast Vickerstock are working exclusively with a leading EPC contractor specialising in the renewable energy and data centre markets to support in the recruitment of an experienced Civil Engineer. With more than 30-years' experience delivering projects across the world, this organisation has recently established a new Belfast office to enhance their already exceptional offering while giving local engineering talent the opportunity to work in a high-growth sector without the need to travel or relocate. Your new role as a Civil Engineer (Renewable Energy/Data Centre) You will be responsible for the Civil, Structural and Ground Engineering elements of projects, covering solar farms, wind farms, battery storage facilties and data centres. Work alongside the internal construction and electrical planning teams to review construction and design plans from external consultants. You will also be involved in project planning, route selection for HV cables, progress reporting and quality management. What you will need to succeed as a Civil Engineer (Renewable Energy/Data Centre) BEng / MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering A minimum of 2-years' experience working within the utilities sector, ideally with some experience of cabling projects Strong knowledge of PLS, STAAD and AutoCAD What's in it for you?
