Salary: MPS/UPS £30,000-£46,525 per annum

Whitleigh Primary School is pleased to announce two teaching opportunities, open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). We have one permanent position available starting in September (October half term is an option for the right candidate), as well as a 12-month fixed-term role. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team as Class Teachers. This role offers the opportunity to positively impact pupil attainment and achievement through innovative teaching and a strong focus on student success.

If you are an Early Career Teacher, we provide a comprehensive package of support, guidance, and dedicated time to facilitate your induction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high-quality education for all pupils in your designated class
• Plan, teach, and manage class activities in accordance with the school's policies and direction of the Headteacher
• Create a stimulating learning environment that fosters pupil engagement and achievement
• Maintain discipline and encourage good practices regarding behaviour and academic standards
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the curriculum and school-wide planning activities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Ability to establish constructive working relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of current educational practices
