The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. As an Area Construction Manager, you will have the following responsibilities, Provide and demonstrate a positive HSE leadership, building a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the whole construction life cycle of the Project. Responsible for orderliness on site and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Lead, manage and motivate the Project Construction Team through implementation of Best Practice. Support the planning and execution of construction of a specific area on a day-to-day basis. Liaison with all MEH Alliance departments for Construction Management, and support functions along with the Clients stakeholders at construction meetings. Maintaining compliance to the MEH Alliance security process. Own the delivery of the 16 week lookahead (provided by the Building Leads) and drive the performance of the construction team to ensure targets are met, issues are identified and resolved. Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering). Experience working on major construction projects at a senior level.
