What you'll do:
As a Construction Disputes Associate, you will be immersed in high-stakes litigation and complex transactions across industry sectors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve handling both contentious and non-contentious issues associated with the construction and engineering industry. You will focus on major projects in the UK and internationally, often subject to international arbitration. Your role will require you to interact confidently with clients from different jurisdictions, developing business pro-actively while working effectively within an established team.

* Work closely with developers, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and professionals such as architects and engineers across a number of sectors.
* Deal with disputes arising from infrastructure projects including acting on major International Arbitrations under various arbitration rules.
* Interact confidently with clients and develop business pro-actively.
* Work effectively within an established, close-knit team.

What you bring:
The ideal Construction Disputes Associate will bring a wealth of experience in contentious construction / International Arbitration work. They will have honed there skills at a highly ranked City practice or team, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and a clear communication style. Her ability to work effectively within an established team will be crucial to her success in this role. Experience dealing with clients from different jurisdictions would be beneficial, but is not a pre-requisite. They will be a qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3-5 years post qualification experience.

* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3-5 years post qualification experience.
* Experience in contentious construction / International Arbitration work.
* Experience dealing with clients from different jurisdictions is considered helpful but not a pre-requisite.
* Experience from a highly ranked City practice or team.
* Excellent people skills and a good, clear communication style.
* Ability to work effectively within an established, close-knit team.
