SW - (Apply online only) Freelance 3 - 4 Month contract Working on an exciting civils and infrastructure joint venture project

• We are looking for an experienced freelance site engineer to set out ducting and associated services including a new entrance road
• The project consists of a multi phased new build reservoir valued into the millions

Setting out, levelling and surveying the site; QA, temporary works checks, temporary works co - ordination * Acting for the main contractor on site liaising with subcontractors and associated construction contractors Managing, monitoring, and interpreting the construction design drawings supplied by the structural engineer, architect & engineers Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project Supervise and monitor all temporary works on site ensuring all as per design Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors Monitor and evaluate quality control Inspect construction work for compliance with specs and drawings Develop strong relationships with sub-contractors to deliver the desired outputs—on time and on budget, with high attention to quality and detail Maintain site records and quality assurance documentation Supervision of direct trade and labour, subcontractors i.e. giving the gridlines/levels to groundwork or, services and civil works Assist Senior Engineer to manage subcontractor packages from commencement to completion

• Carry out Quality Assurance checks with subcontractor to what is required/expected is delivered
• Ensure smooth flow of information between design team and subcontractors
• Report to the Senior Engineer on project safety, progress, technical decisions, changes and other significant events on site to Senior Engineer
