Construction Manager

Duties - Construction Manager/ Senior Site Manager Salary/Package - 60K- 70K + Package Location: Sheffield

High Rise Student accommodation scheme

As a Senior Site Manager you will work closely with the Project Manager, helping develop the projects main logic of works programme, ensure that no work commences on site until health and safety policy and the relevant construction phase plan is in place.

Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments together with the Safety Plan and to observe the requirement of the CDM Regulations in the status of Principal Contractor

Provide leadership and support to all Employees

Manage labour and maintain high productivity

Expedite materials and information release from design team

Comply with the requirements of the company

Quality Procedure and Manual

Manage all sub-contractors and supply chain effectively

Supervise the quality of the works and hand over a snag free building

Qualifications: SMSTS

1st Aid Certificate

Black CSCS Card

About you

You'll have previous leadership experience in the construction industry, along with a degree in a built environment discipline or relevant trade expertise. Ability to supervise projects from inception to completion, whilst exemplifying our commitment to Health & Safety, and ensuring quality and best practice will be second nature to you.

Above all, you'll be a confident and credible communicator, who can explain complex issues to sub-contractors and clients at all levels of business.
