This firm is seeking a new Partner to join their thriving construction department . You might be an ambitious senior associate seeking a route to partnership? Or perhaps already a Partner seeking a solid firm with a thriving partnership.

You will find OMB, HNW individuals, innovative new start-ups, overseas companies setting up shop in the UK, individuals in the public eye, some well-known household name companies, and also your more ordinary run-of-the-mill client.

There is good synergy between partners making for a very collaborative approach between departments, ensuring that all business opportunities are seized and clients are offered a well-rounded service. They have an impressive plan for targeted, considered, and strategic growth. This also involves succession planning over the coming 36 months. The firm currently stands at just over 100 members of staff. The role

This firm is currently seeking a Construction Partner to join their West End, London office.

The team is busy and due to an influx of new work, they are seeking to hire a new Construction Partner . You will work with the other partners to drive the department forward, whilst mentoring and supporting the more junior members of the team.

Real Estate is a core practice area for the firm. You will join a talented team of Solicitors. The construction department deals with a good quality of work, working closely with Real Estate and Corporate. The team consists of three Lawyers, and due to workflow, they are looking to grow.

The firm is keen to hear from candidates from either a contentious, non-contentious, or mixed background.

The work will include, but not be limited to; negotiating building contracts, contracts, terms of engagement, terms of engagement and warranties. If you have contentious experience there is also the opportunity to deal with construction litigation.

You will join a busy, professional, and reputable team that is going from strength to strength.

Requirements

  • You will be a Construction Solicitor with at least eight years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
  • You will have had good experience dealing with a broad palette of conveyancing work
  • Experience in mentoring and leading more junior lawyers is to advantage but is not essential.
  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your background.
