Construction Surveyor

Balfour Beatty have fantastic opportunities for Engineering Surveyors to join our Highways team on the multi-million pound New Emergency Area Retro-Fit (NEAR) Programme. We also offer competitive salaries and benefits. Ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements. Support the works including earthworks, sheet piling, drainage, kerbing and surfacing. Make sure all survey equipment is calibrated and that field checks are conducted regularly. Assess the practicalities and dimensional control associated with surveying activities. Ensure all surveying activities are undertaken safely and responsibly, and in accordance with the CDM Regulations. Assist in the preparation of progress reports on surveying activities Verify any supplied setting out data against the site grid system to ensure compatibility. Produce 'Topo' and As-built surveys of the works. Surveying qualification Experience in the use of survey equipment (Total Station, GPS and digital level) and production of survey reports.
