Construction Surveyor Estimator

Intermediate QS required for a leading Civil Engineering Contractor for a permanent position in the Central Belt. This position will be based on site but travel and housing costs are provided. projects vary from large-scale earthworks, remediation works, infrastructure, structures, windfarms and more. A thriving, business that has completed civil engineering projects across the length and breadth of the UK;

• Civil engineering is the core business, but have capabilities in property development, plant hire, farming, and energy;
• Due to on-going and future pending contracts, this is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the Scotland's largest contractors and get exposure to interesting and prestigious projects.

You will be the main Commercial contact on site and be on the project from start to finish

• The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for performing risk, value management and cost control;
• You will perform cost analysis, seek funding options and prepare final accounts for submission;
• You will be based by and largely on site, implementing a hands on approach to Quantity Surveying;
• You will be given the responsibility to run your own projects and is a great step on the road to becoming a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified, with at least an HNC in Quantity Surveying;

• Experience with a Main Contractor, although any civil engineering background will be considered;
• At least 3+ years’ post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying;
• Confident and comfortable working on multiple projects and sites.
