Construction Tutor

A unique role.

One that may not come up often.

Something that isn't your normal day job if you want something different each day.

Flexible with the days and hours. Can be 1 - 5 days (depending on what you're looking for).

If you have the excitement and knowledge of construction then you can apply it to this field of educating the next generation of construction.

You may have never been in a classroom but want something different to your jon now- or you may have taught in other schools or other subjects and want a change of location or subject. We are open for the right person!

The classes are up to 3 children and there will be a minimum of 2 TAs at any one time with you. This is because sometimes they may show some challenging behaviour. We are a specialist provision for young people who have had complex trauma. Who may have been excluded from schools and struggle sitting in classrooms but thrive with hands on projects.

These are amazing children. They have been through a lot yet are ambitious and wanting careers and futures. We provide independent carers opportunities for them, take them on real life experiences and provide them with moments of 'wow' to hook them into learning.

We believe in giving you the right CPD and training. Your induction will be catered so that you enter the classroom confident. There will be some induction weeks (paid) whilst this happens, including shadowing and training, before you then start your teaching timetable. If you are new to being in a school or classroom- this will be a longer paid induction so that you can feel upskilled and empowered before teaching.

We are open to part time and full time candidates. We are open to those training or those wanting additional responsibilities and building on their career so far.

If you're experienced in construction we can support if this is something that you want to take on.
