Construction Director
Ringwood, Hampshire
Salary up to £95,000 + Car Allowance £7000 + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Bonus

MY CLIENT:

One of the largest off-site design and build contractor in the South.

With their head office based near Ringwood the company has successfully delivered projects across the MoD, Healthcare, Residential and Commercial sectors with projects ranging from £1M to £30M.

THE ROLE:

This is an opportunity for a senior professional to make their mark and support the growth of an established and profitable contractor, with a growth plan over the next 5 years.

The successful candidate will provide technical advice to the Business Development Team along with management and oversight to the whole construction programme from initial design, through off-site construction to site delivery and installation.

The Construction Director will play an integral part in influencing key contracts and planning, ensuring company planning standards and procedures are being implemented.

Working hours:

• Mon - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm
• Fridays working from home - 8.30am - 1.00pm

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Construction Director, Pre-Construction Director, Operations Director or relevant role over a broad client base
• Ideally Degree level however HNC/HND will be considered with the right experience / track record or equivalent tertiary qualification
• Proven operations track record in construction/manufacturing related business
• Experience in bid management and customer support
• In-depth understanding of Building Regulations
• Must possess sound knowledge of CDM Regulations and demonstrate experience of implementation of the requirements of the regulations and monitoring of compliance
• Sound knowledge of construction HSE legislation
• CSCS Black Management Card
