Senior CE&I Designer

Multi Trades Recruitment are looking for a Senior CEI Designer to work with a reputable company in Warrington. About the Project: Join the forefront of one of the most crucial construction projects at the Sellafield Site - the Box Encapsulation Plant (BEP). This project, forming a pivotal part of Sellafield's 100-year clean-up program, aims to encapsulate nuclear waste for safe storage. As part of the BEP Joint Venture, you'll contribute to designing and delivering a plant in line with contractual requirements, meeting stakeholder satisfaction and environmental standards. This is a contract position lasting till January 2025. It is also a hybrid position working 3 days in the office. With wiggle room on this. Role Description: As a Senior CE&I Designer, you'll play a vital role in the production of engineering drawings and designs adhering to project and client standards. Your responsibilities will include: Developing layout, diagrams, and schematic designs using AutoCAD Integrating design with Aveva E&I software packages and PDMS, including noding and routing Creating CE&I installation designs using PDMS, including equipment layout and cable containment Checking the work of other designers in the team Liaising with construction engineers to ensure resolution of installation issues Following established BEP procedures for design development and control Collaborating with other designers across the project to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing Essential Experience & Qualifications: ONC/D or suitable installation design experience combined with Aveva training and recent active experience Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing production Experience with Aveva E&I (or E3D more recently) Working knowledge of PDMS Model is desirable Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to obtain BPSS security clearance Required Design Tools/Software: Aveva E&I and Cable Systems AutoCAD Navisworks MS Office How to Apply: If you're ready to contribute to a groundbreaking project and meet the essential qualifications, please send your CV and cover letter to Sammultitradesrec.co.uk
