Teacher of Maths Location: Ripon, North Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2024
Salary: MPS/UPS; £30,000 - £46,525 per annum Contract: Full Time, Permanent GSL Education's North Yorkshire Branch is currently recruiting for a Teacher of Maths to join a Client Secondary School in Ripon, North Yorkshire. This is a full-time position due to commence in September 2024. Teacher of Maths Responsibilities: * Planning and delivering Maths lessons to a range of abilities, across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
* Encouraging active student participation, fostering critical thinking, and promoting problem-solving skills.
* Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
* Follow the ethos and policies of the school, promoting positive behaviour throughout the school.
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources that enhance the learning experience.
* Take part in staff training days, staff meetings and parent's evenings. Teacher of Maths Requirements: * Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Maths or STEM Degree.
* Have recent experience teaching Maths to an education setting.
* Be able to provide 2 professional references, relating to your teaching within the last 2 years (placements will be accepted for ECTs).
* Be a passionate educator of young pupils with the ability to differentiate tasks for differing levels.
* Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education. DBS sponsorship is available for this position.
