• Experienced as a Site Manager building Steel frame industrial units and groundworks
• To manage projects with an average value of £8M
• Commercial and Industrial steel units i.e Tapi carpets, Halfords, Mothercare, Homebase etc

Job Responsibilities and Scope: Working as a main contractor, you will be part of growig team specialising in the design and construction of commercial, retail, industrial and leisure projects.

• Material take-offs and ordering and liaising with suppliers
• Be familiar with the use of surveying equipment to enable basic setting out and levels
• Completing the day-to-day operations of the site, including the coordination and supervision of on-site personnel and subcontractors
• Managing the resolution of any day-to-day issues arising on site for the duration of the project
• Co-ordinating with the Contracts Manager on material and plant requisitioning
• Liaising with the Quantity Surveyor on cost issues and compiling the Variation Log and monitoring variations
• Managing subcontractors, engineering and operational staff and personnel on sit
