The ERM Legal Department provides legal support for ERM’s management and operations globally (over 140 offices in 39 countries). The General Counsel, located in London, UK, leads the entire global Legal Department, which in addition to the EMEA team has members supporting Latin America, US/Canada, and Asia Pacific. This position will support ERM and the Legal Department in carrying out the mission of reducing risk, improving decision-making, and enhancing client relations by world-class management of contracts and related information. This position will have an important role in optimizing ERM’s performance on major contract delivery. This position will report to the Regional Managing Counsel for EMEA, based on London, with additional supervision and interaction with other commercial counsels in ERM’s EMEA Legal Department. Managing ERM business contract queries Tracking contract obligations and compliance status Advising so reviews and approvals can be carried out in accordance with ERM’s policies and procedures Drafting and reviewing certain contract types Supporting the connection between ERM business people and the Legal Department, to maintain a client focussed approach Negotiating issues with guidance from ERM legal counsels A variety of other miscellaneous commercial documents. This role would be ideal for a senior contract manager looking to join a multi-national commercial in-house team in a business facing role, providing end-to-end service with a wide variety of work and responsibilities.
